The 6090FS started out life in 1997 as the RH400 built by Orenstein & Koppel (O&K), over the years O&K was aqquired by Terex Mining and the RH400 was sold as the Terex-O&K RH400 untill the sell off of Terex's Mining division to Bucyrus International which continued offering the RH400 until Bucyrus's aqquisiton by Caterpillar and the Bucyrus product line was assimilated into Caterpillar's mining equipment line and the RH400 became the 6090FS.

resenting the Cat® 6090 FS Hydraulic Shovel in a limited edition, one-time production run from Classic Construction Models.  Die-cast in highly accurate 1:48 scale, noticeable features and detailing on the model include:
